General Terms & Conditions

By purchasing a photoshoot, Images or any products with Chloe Thorn Photography, you enter into the following terms:

• All images taken by Chloe Thorn Photography may be used by Chloe Thorn Photography across all platforms (Including Print, Website & Social medias) for the purpose of Marketing materials, Competition entries, Qualifications, Etc. Chloe Thorn Photography also has the right to supply any images taken by Chloe Thorn Photography to 3rd Parties, such as for commercial use, unless specifically requested in writing by the customer not to do so.
• The customer understands that all images viewed during the private viewing (or viewed via a secure, password protected online gallery) will have undergone a base edit only. Only images purchased by the customer will receive a full edit upon request.
• All Digital Files purchased from events will be sent to the customer via email within 7 working days upon receipt of full payment. For full experience portraiture customers only, A USB stick containing all images purchased will also be posted to an address of the customers choice. Chloe Thorn Photography holds no liability for products lost or damaged in the post.
• It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure all information and details they provide to Chloe Thorn Photography is up to date and correct. Chloe Thorn Photography holds no Liability for any missed communication or undelivered Images & product due to incorrect information supplied.
• All Photoshoot Clients will be subscribed to my mailing list. You can Unsubscribe at any time.
• Galleries viewed with a password may be shared with friends and family to view. All Images within a gallery will contain a watermark which will be removed upon purchase of the image(s). However, downloading an image/ "Screen Shotting" / Sharing an image(s) without purchasing the JPEG first IS NOT PERMITTED. You will be billed for use of the image(s) without permission and asked to remove the image(s) until you have purchased it. This Applies to all customers (Portraiture, commercial & Event/clinic etc).
• All prints & products purchased from Chloe Thorn Photography will be delivered to the customer within 8 weeks of receiving full payment. Any delays will be communicated by Chloe Thorn Photography. Chloe Thorn Photography holds no liability for postal delays or lost/ damaged products.
• Photoshoots usually last approximately 2 hours. However there are no set time guarantees and photo-shoot times may vary depending on each individual situation and the safety/behaviors displayed.
• Photoshoots will commence where possible at the time given to start. The client accepts that if they are not ready at the start time of the shoot time or they arrive too late etc, that no extra time may be able to be given and it is the clients own time-slot they are wasting.
• Photoshoots are to take place at the location pre-agreed during the design consultation call. Customers take full responsibility of obtaining permission to use the location unless stated otherwise by Chloe Thorn Photography.
• Chloe Thorn Photography holds no liability for any Loss of Life, Damage or Injury to any person, property or animal included in or during the photoshoot. This also includes those not participating in the photoshoot at the location.
• The customer agrees that they are taking part in the photoshoot and any activities during the photoshoot at their own risk. Any customer suggestions/ requests/ etc are only done so with the understanding that it is well within the ability of any participant (Animal or Human).
• It is the responsibility of the customer/owner to ensure all animals are correctly insured to be out in public. Chloe Thorn Photography holds no liability for the customers/ owners animals.
• The Customer/owner agrees that all relevant behavioral issues have been fully disclosed to Chloe Thorn Photography prior to the photoshoot.
• Once a Low-res/ Web file Image(s) has been purchased, the customer has permission to share as they please with other friends & family or on social medias, but NO PERMISSION to print the image(s) or edit them in anyway (including Instagram filters, black and white, etc) as this is not a true representation of my work and goes against copyright laws.
• Private online galleries will be removed after 12 weeks unless otherwise requested in writing by the customer. Galleries can be made available online again after removal should the customer wish to purchase more images, however a £15 admin fee will occur.
• Chloe Thorn Photography reserves the right to update the Terms and Conditions at anytime.
• Chloe Thorn Photography reserves the right to update the Prices at any time (Any Prices given at the time of booking and after full payment is received will be honored should prices change prior to private viewing)
• Chloe Thorn Photography reserves the right to not commence a photoshoot until commission payment is received in full.
• Chloe Thorn Photography will not accept any abuse/ bullying/ threats/ etc and reserves the right to refuse service, terminate all communication and any contracts with a customer. No refunds will be issued in this circumstance.
• Chloe Thorn Photography holds no liability, nor shall any refund or re-shoot be given to clients who are dissatisfied with the results due to their own choices. (for example, a client not liking the outfit they wore or the way their Hair & Make-up etc looked). No Refund or re-shoot will be given for clients dissatisfied with the way they perceive themselves in the images either.

Refunds, Cancellations, Booking Fees & Payments.

• The Customer reserves the right to cancel their photoshoot within 14 days of paying your booking fee only. If a cancellation is made within the 14 days of payment for the booking fee, the fee is refundable. Any cancellations made more than 14 days after the booking fee is made, the fee is Non Refundable. (Any photoshoots that are due to take place within 28 days of booking must be paid for in full at time of Booking)
• A £95 Non Refundable booking fee must be paid to secure your chosen date. If the booking fee is not paid within 3 days of choosing a selected date, the date is not secured and will becomes available to other customers.
• The remaining payment for the photoshoot session must be payed for in full no later than 14 days prior to the photoshoot date (where applicable).
• If for any reason a Cancellation made by Chloe Thorn Photography should occur, This will be communicated to the customer as soon as possible. Chloe Thorn Photography will contact the customer at a later date to reschedule for a date to suit both parties and no extra cost.
• Should weather conditions be deemed unsuitable (upon mutual agreement between Chloe Thorn Photography & the customer) the shoot may be rescheduled to a new date to suit both parties at no extra cost. Chloe Thorn Photography agrees to keep up to date with the weather forecast for the day of the photoshoot and any concerns regarding the weather on the day will be communicated with the customer as soon as possible. If the weather is unfavourable but both parties mutually agree to go ahead with the shoot, there is no guarantee on the quality of the images produced by Chloe Thorn Photography and the Images produced may be limited/ affected.
• Rescheduling for any reason other than weather, illness or loss of life will incur a £50 rescheduling fee to be payable at the time of rescheduling. Chloe Thorn Photography must be notified of any rescheduling requests no less than 7 days prior to the photoshoot date. No Refunds will be made should the customer reschedule more than 3 times for reasons other than those highlighted or be unable to agree upon a new date.
• Should any Cancellations for the photoshoot be made by the customer after 14 days of paying the booking fee, Any Money paid will be refunded minus the £95 booking fee.
• No Refunds will be available for any Images or product purchased.
• Product will not be ordered until all payment is received in full. Once payment in full is made and the product is ordered the customer is unable to cancel the order or receive a refund. Chloe Thorn Photography holds no liability for any lost, damaged or stolen products and refunds will not be given in such circumstances.
• If you have any concerns, questions or complaints please contact Chloe Thorn Photography in writing asap.

Gift Cards/ Vouchers/ Hampers.

• All Gift Cards and Vouchers are only valid to be used within 12 months of the purchase date.
• Gift Cards/ Vouchers/ Hampers cannot be replaced if Lost/ Stolen/ Damaged or Destroyed.
• Gift Cards/ Vouchers/ Hampers cannot be exchanged or Refunded for Cash or other denominated vouchers etc.
• Gift Cards/ Vouchers/ Hampers cannot be Refunded.
• Gifts Cards/ Hampers & Vouchers CANNOT be used in conjunction with any other special promotions, offers or discounts.
• Gift Cards/ Hampers & Vouchers CANNOT be sold or Donated to third parties without written consent from Chloe Thorn Photography. If consent is given the purchase may be subject to any conditions which Chloe Thorn Photography imposes. In any extent you may NOT sell or Donate Gift Cards/ Hampers or Vouchers through the internet or in person without full written consent from Chloe Thorn Photography, which you must obtain before making the sale/Donation. Chloe Thorn Photography reserves the right at all times to refuse permit of any sale/Donation of Gift Cards/ Hampers & Vouchers by you to a third party.
• If an intended purchase is for a higher amount than the face value of the Gift Card/ Voucher then the difference MUST be made up at the time by either Credit/Debit card or Cash payment. If the intended purchase is less than the face value of the Gift Card/ Voucher, change will not be given.
• When Purchasing a Hamper, the customer agrees that all products in the Hamper are suitable and age appropriate for the intended recipient. Chloe Thorn Photography holds no liability for any unsuitable products or those products gifted to underage recipients.
• When Purchasing a Gift Card or Voucher, The customer agrees that it is suitable for the intended recipient.
• Gift Cards & Vouchers can only be used towards the value of a full photoshoot/additional products purchased at the photoshoot viewing, unless specifically stated otherwise. Please quote the Gift Card code when booking. All Vouchers MUST be brought to the Private Viewing in order to be used.

In-Person Private Viewings

• The Customer will be required to confirm and agree to check all information given to Chloe Thorn Photography is correct on the order form at the end of the viewing before an order is made. The information given will be final and no changes will be able to be made once payment is received in full. Chloe Thorn Photography holds no liability for any incorrect information given.
• Chloe Thorn Photography has Zero Tolerance of any Abuse/ Bullying/ Threats/ Negative behaviors etc before, during or after the viewing session. You will be asked to leave and Chloe Thorn Photography reserves the right to refuse service, terminate all communication and any contracts with the offending party.
• All Digital Images purchased will be uploaded to a Password protected private gallery within 7 working days of full payment to be downloaded. This gallery will be available to download from for 3 months after purchase. Should you require this Gallery to be available after the 3 months, a £15 admin fee will occur. All Purchased Images will also be sent to the customer on a custom USB within 3 weeks of purchase. Chloe Thorn Photography holds no liability for any lost/ stolen or damaged products.
• Frames & Prints will be available within 4 weeks of order. Any delays will be communicated by Chloe Thorn Photography.
• Albums & Other Products will be available within 8 weeks of order. Any Delays will be communicated by Chloe Thorn Photography.
• Should any delays occur, Chloe Thorn Photography will update the Customer ASAP.
• In Person Viewing sessions on average take approximately 2-3 hours. Please allow plenty of time for your viewing.
• You may collect your order from me free of charge. Direct Delivery to your chosen address is available for a flat rate £25 fee.
• Digital Images & Products must be ordered and payed for at the time of the In-Person Private Viewing. Payment plans are available upon request but the customer understands that the order will not be made or any product/ Images will be delivered until payment in full has been received.
• Payments can be made via gift voucher, cash, Credit/Debit card or Bank Transfer. (Please note, only British Currency is accepted. for international clients please contact me for currency exchange rates)
• All orders are final and cannot be refunded or exchanged.
• In the unlikely event that you are not happy with any product received, please contact me asap and I will do my best to work with you to resolve any issues.
• If you choose to print your Digital Files with my permission yourself, I hold no liability and cannot guarantee the quality or durability of the finished product.

What you CAN and CAN'T do with your Images.

• Absolutely NO "Screen Shotting" from your final or preview gallery is permitted.
• You are NOT PERMITTED to Edit the Image in anyway yourself (This includes Black and White/ Instagram filters/ Cropping etc) - I can do all of this for you, please just ask!
• You may NOT use the image in any competition without prior permission from Chloe Thorn Photography. (This includes online or social media competitions to win a free gift, etc)
• You may NOT sell the image yourself (Including to 3rd Party Brands/ Sponsors etc)
• You may NOT gift/ send the image to any other brands/ companies/ etc for them to use without prior permission from Chloe Thorn Photography.
• If Permission is given for a brand/ company/ etc to use the image, or the image is to be used elsewhere (eg, an online competition) Chloe Thorn Photography MUST be Tagged/ Given Credit.
• Print release is NOT GIVEN for any Low-res/ Social media digital files purchased. All High-Res Files purchased come with a print release but are NOT PERMITTED for commercial use unless agreed to Prior by Chloe Thorn Photography.
• Please Notify Chloe Thorn Photography in writing if you DO NOT CONSENT to your images being shared online or in print form (Such as Samples/ Marketing/ etc). Unless the desire for the Images to NOT be used is given in writing at the time of viewing, the customer agrees that they have automatically given their consent and are happy for the images to be used. Should you change your mind at any point, you must notify Chloe Thorn Photography for your request of removal in writing asap. Your request will be acknowledged and fulfilled within 28 working days of acknowledgement - Any printed marketing or product that has already been sent out cannot have the images removed, however no further print product or marketing will be sent.
• Any Breach of these terms and conditions will result in Chloe Thorn Photography billing the offender for the current price of the individual image. ( As of July 2025, this price is £35)
• You may share your online gallery & password with as many friends and family as you wish, but in doing so they also agree to adhere to the above Terms & Conditions.
